1. How Do People (Really) Move Through the Day? What’s the Flow of the Property?
It’s easy to imagine your ceremony here, your reception there—but what about the in-between? The transitions? The behind-the-scenes logistics of getting 100+ guests from the ceremony site to the cocktail hour without confusion or awkward pauses?
At Chapman Hill, we design every event with flow in mind.
Here’s what matters:
Where do guests park? Our lot is well-maintained and conveniently placed, so guests enter the property close to where the action starts.
Where do you get ready? The bridal suite and groom’s cottage are located with privacy and comfort in mind. But couples should know how far those suites are from the ceremony site—will you need a golf cart escort or a quick walk in heels across gravel?
How does the crowd transition between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception? We help build timelines that naturally guide guests from one zone to another, with clear signage and our onsite team directing traffic (the friendly kind).

Outside vendors? Chapman Hill allows you to bring in your dream team, and we never upcharge you for it. But some venues tack on fees for non-preferred vendors.
Extra time on property? Our packages are clearly timed, but we’re upfront about hourly extensions and communicate in advance to avoid surprises.
Early setup or next-day teardown? Some venues limit how early vendors can arrive or require teardown to happen the same night.
